Why I Want to Help Internet Marketing Newbies
In March of 2007, a neighbor asked me to go with him to an "internet marketing workshop" (a sneaky way of saying high pressure sales pitch)! I had no interest in purchasing anything, but, the neighbor didn't understand much about the internet and he thought I could help him understand what they were saying; so I agreed to go with him!
As I listened to the various speakers; it was clear, that they were indicating that the information they were telling us was "little known" information that most internet website owners did not know! Thus, we would have knowledge that would put us ahead of most internet marketers; who they said were not making a profit with their sites!
Well, the reason that kind of sales pitch works, of course, is that most of us attending the "workshop" had done zero research into what is happening in the world of internet marketing!
Bottom line.....I fell for it! I purchased three website licenses, costing several thousand dollars! Then, thinking I was about to make lots of money using these websites; reality raised up and showed me that all that "little known info" had already been discovered by most internet marketers and I wasn't going to even make enough to pay for those expensive websites!
Well, thanks to that EXPENSIVE mistake, I decided to learn all I can about what's happening on the internet. I've learned a lot and I decided that I wanted to share with others and hopefully, help them avoid the expensive mistake I made!
MY MISSION here, is to show everyone that is thinking about, or new to, internet marketing; that there are much better and certainly much cheaper ways to accomplish their internet marketing ambitions! And that it doesn't include those high pressure sales pitches called, "internet marketing workshops"!
